I'm Adam Sherwin. My mom lives several hours away. While I'm lucky to have a network of friends and family checking in on her, I know firsthand the anxiety that comes with not being there for the day-to-day. I know the worry when she mentions she might have climbed a step ladder to change a lightbulb, or when a home maintenance task gets deferred because it’s just too much to handle alone.

For years, I worked in professional facilities operations management, ensuring complex systems ran smoothly and safely. Today, I bring that same structural expertise to your front door.
There is a massive gap between being completely independent and needing a nursing home or assisted living facility—which easily costs over $6,000 a month. Most people aren't ready to leave the home they love, but they shouldn't have to navigate the physical risks and mental load of property upkeep alone just to stay there.As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), my priority is senior safety. As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), I look through a specialized lens for fall risks, lighting gaps, fire hazards, and security vulnerabilities, providing you with a prioritized Home Safety & Longevity Report.

  • Full-Service Execution: We handle the sourcing, tech setup, and precise installation of all recommended safety upgrades for you.

  • DIY Roadmap: We provide the detailed report and a step-by-step guide so you or a family member can complete the fixes yourselves.

  • Vetted Contractor Network: For larger modifications (like custom ramps or walk-in tubs), we find, vet, and oversee external contractors to guarantee high-quality work at a fair price.

The "Settled Home" SubscriptionOngoing peace of mind, comfort, and home stewardship.This is our core service, designed for proactive management, active repairs, and regular check-ins—not just inspections. To ensure deeply personalized attention, meticulous safety reporting, and premium care, we maintain a limited active roster of just 10–12 subscription clients. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits tailored specifically to your needs.

  • Regular Check-Ins: A friendly, trusted face to check in, chat over coffee, and provide detailed digital reports sent directly to you and your designated loved ones after every visit.

  • Handyman Services & Repairs: From fixing running toilets and loose railings to repairing everyday wear and tear, we keep your home fully functional.

3. As-Needed Handyman & Heavy Lifting (One-Off Visits)
No subscription required. Big or small, we handle the random to-do list.
You don’t need to be a monthly member to call us. We are always available for single visits to tackle those random, physically demanding, or time-consuming tasks that pop up out of nowhere.
